We have fallen into a significant fear and victim-hood about a climate crisis, but this science needs much more debate about whether a climate crisis exists. This is the main issue and the most important to continue to discuss.
If we blindly accept this climate emergency position then we end up with all the significant waste of climate mitigation. But if it’s established that we don’t have a climate emergency, then we are liberated from the huge distraction of NetZero and can get on with prosperity and human flourishing with only some focused adaptation.
Many leading scientists are trapped in open dispute on this position and hence the need for open dialogue to establish the truth.
The main argument for a climate crisis is a suggested link between the sudden increase in CO2 and the slight rise in global temperature. But there is no proven causation to support this theory that can be successfully predicted.
Many argue that even if our industrialized society has liberated the sequestered CO2 all it is doing is greening the planet that appears to be a positive for the human food supply.
And this level of temperature increase has happened 5 times in the last 10,000 years and is not unprecedented and was higher in the past, and humanity flourished even without the flourishing power of technology and fossil fuels..
Here is my position and some strong facts and a roadmap...
